1. Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RGATE. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What RGATE Does

RGATE provides automated security scanning of publicly accessible web deployments. The service:

• Analyzes publicly reachable endpoints
• Generates automated security findings
• Provides reports based on detected configurations and exposures

RGATE does not:

• Access private systems without authorization
• Perform intrusive penetration testing
• Exploit vulnerabilities
• Store credentials or API keys

3. Authorized Use

You may only use RGATE to scan:

• Domains you own, or
• Domains you are explicitly authorized to test.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have proper authorization before initiating a scan. We are not responsible for unauthorized or unlawful use of the service.

4. No Guarantee of Security

RGATE provides automated analysis. We do not guarantee that:

• All vulnerabilities will be detected
• Your system is secure
• The absence of findings means absence of risk

Security is an ongoing process. You remain fully responsible for your systems and infrastructure.

5. Payments

Certain features require payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing a scan or subscription:

• You agree to the displayed pricing
• You authorize Stripe to process payment
• You understand that digital services are delivered immediately

Refunds are not guaranteed unless required by applicable law. Subscription terms (if applicable):

• Continuous plans may have a minimum term
• Portfolio plans may have different limits
• Cancellation terms are described at checkout

All prices are shown exclusive or inclusive of VAT where applicable.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use RGATE to scan systems without authorization
• Attempt to reverse engineer the service
• Interfere with the platform's operation
• Use the service for illegal activities

We reserve the right to suspend access for violations.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, software, and materials provided by RGATE remain our intellectual property. You may use generated reports for internal or commercial purposes related to your own systems. You may not resell or redistribute the service itself without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: RGATE is provided "as is" and "as available". We are not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages
• Lost profits
• Security incidents
• Business interruption
• Misuse of findings

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the service.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from:

• Unauthorized scanning
• Violation of these Terms
• Misuse of the service

10. Availability

We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify or discontinue features at any time.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hamburg, Germany, unless otherwise required by law.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
